Sony Pictures required ideas and visualisations to promote the upcoming 2016 film Arrival.
Together with the Sony Pictures account team, we came to the idea of utilising the mysterious Heptapod language and symbols became the key to teasing out the launch date of the film.

Above: Using simple lenticular printing on outdoor billboards allows passers by to see the title and date translate with their own movement.

Below: A more high-tech approach to outdoor, using large train station digital billboards to reveal the Heptapod translation, with the option to incorporate Google Translate technology into the activation.
